Requirements
- 8+ years of professional DevOps and DevSecOps engineering experience.
- 3+ years working within DoW or federal cloud environments (IL-4 or IL-5).
- Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience building and owning end-to-end production CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in security compliance including ATO/cATO support and artifact production.
- Proven experience with observability practices, including metrics, logging, and alerting.
- Experience with hardened base images and image promotion workflows.
- Ability to travel up to 25% to customer sites and vendor facilities.
- Active US Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Own initial platform deployment into the government IL-5 environment as the primary contract deliverable.
- Build and prove CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure-as-code using portable templates to ensure seamless migration to government systems.
- Establish development, test, and production environments in AWS GovCloud.
- Implement security controls from project inception to support continuous authorization.
- Direct a team of platform, cloud, and cyber engineers while remaining hands-on with architecture and build tasks.
- Integrate monitoring, observability, and compliance artifact generation (SBOM, STIG, SCAP) into the pipeline.
- Communicate status, risks, and technical tradeoffs to stakeholders and customer security personnel.
