Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in one or more common languages such as Python or Go.
- Experience working at a systems level with modern developer infrastructure.
- Ability to query, combine, and process data from tool APIs.
- Proven experience instrumenting quality metrics (e.g., Change Failure Rate, Deployment Frequency, SLIs/SLOs).
- Experience building and refactoring complex, distributed systems.
- Experience with declarative infrastructure as code (IaC) deployment patterns.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP and/or AWS.
- Hands-on experience with load and performance testing tools.
- Experience with AI testing tools and agent-based system architecture.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Drive engineering-wide process changes and reliability standards adoption.
- Build SDLC observability pipelines to visualize engineering telemetry.
- Define and automate reporting for Key Quality Indicators like change failure rates and deployment frequency.
- Architect shift-left pipeline gates for performance, security, and accessibility checks.
- Develop real-world load and performance testing strategies using tools like k6, Locust, Gatling, or JMeter.
- Build architecture for synthetic data injection and production canaries.
- Lead migration to a unified, AI-supported automation stack.
- Maintain development practices, including writing tests and documenting key implementations.
