Requirements
- Experience working in a platform environment
- A mindset of ownership, leading by example and a default to action approach
- Hands-on experience with Terraform
- Experience with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and templates
- Experience with Azure cloud services including Networking, Identity Management, Service Fabric, AKS, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Elasticsearch
- Proven track-record of enabling/supporting teams to operate in a DevOps and/or Platform environment
- Proactive approach in problem, incident and risk management and resolution
- Experience in microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, and related patterns
Responsibilities
- Build and run a platform that enables engineering teams to take their products to market faster and run them reliably and efficiently
- Take full ownership and accountability for the ClearBank cloud platform products your team owns and each aspect of the software delivery, support and maintenance lifecycle
- Work closely with Technical Product Owners, Agile Delivery Managers, Staff and Principal engineers to define backlogs, delivery plans and long-term roadmaps
- Support the risk management of your product and identify risk proactively within technology and delivery across the organisation
- Leverage modern technologies to deliver additional value and ensure best practices are followed within the ClearBank eco-system
- Leverage agile principles to enable collaboration and innovation in the team and with stakeholders
