Requirements
- Proven track record of building real products using AI tools with high speed and quality.
- Excellent product judgment and ability to make independent technical decisions.
- Unusually high quality bar for code, design, and production rigor.
- Founding-engineer mindset or experience as an ex-CTO/VPE.
- Solid backend experience in Go or Kotlin.
- Competence in AWS or GCP, with a preference for GCP.
- Proficiency with production Kubernetes.
- Full-stack comfort across Node/TypeScript services and React/Next.js.
Responsibilities
- Ship new product surface area from zero to production at a high-quality bar.
- Stand up AI-native workflows using tools like Claude and Cursor to enhance team capability.
- Own and maintain the backend infrastructure to ensure production stability.
- Manage CI/CD, deployment hygiene, observability, and architecture decisions.
- Serve as a technical interviewer and lead hiring efforts for the engineering team.
