Requirements
- Candidates must live in the United States.
- Willing to travel to attend twice annual Common App Retreat.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4-6 years of experience working in or around the college admissions process.
- Firm understanding of education technology trends and practices.
- Demonstrable experience working collaboratively to enhance, implement, build, or launch technology initiatives.
- Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Proficient in using collaboration tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, and Atlassian (e.g., Jira).
- Experience in product management, technology implementation, business analysis, or strategy consulting.
- Experience working collaboratively with user experience and technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Shape enhancements to Common App’s first-year and transfer applications to drive satisfaction and improve student experience.
- Drive new and enhanced features designed to increase ease of use for students, counselors, and colleges.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify, define, and prioritize product features.
- Determine metrics for success, capture and analyze results, and present findings.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Product Management and the Product Strategy team.
