Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in Quality Engineering within cloud-native SaaS environments (AWS).
- Expertise in scaling automated testing infrastructure and GitHub Workflows.
- Knowledge of testing strategies from unit to E2E, including API contract and integration testing.
- Proficiency in Cypress, Pact, and K6.
- Solid front-end knowledge with fluency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Familiarity with observability tools to improve test signal and feedback loops.
- Strong communication and coaching skills to influence product stakeholders.
- Experience leading testing initiatives for distributed teams across multiple regions.
- Experience integrating QA tools like Zephyr Scale with on-prem CI/CD systems.
- Strategic growth mindset with an interest in AI-powered testing tools like CoPilot, Devin, and Claude.
Responsibilities
- Represent SDETs by partnering with product teams to embed quality through tooling, automation, infrastructure, and reporting.
- Contribute to a modern quality strategy, shifting focus from UI-based testing toward lower-level tests.
- Enhance CI/CD and developer workflows by improving test data setup, isolation, and execution reliability.
- Complete functionality and enhancement testing aligned with team roadmaps and AI Test Harnesses.
- Drive and monitor quality KPIs including test coverage, defect trends, execution health, and regression rates.
- Promote a quality-first mindset and mentor developers on testing methodologies and AI-driven practices.
