Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of project management experience within field operations, onsite operations, data collection, technical services, or similar environments.
- Experience managing complex, multi-site, or distributed operational projects.
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and operational performance metrics.
- Ability to lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project tracking tools.
- Willingness to travel regularly to client sites and project locations across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of one or more onsite and field data collection projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery.
- Translate program strategies into detailed project plans, timelines, workflows, and operational activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to client expectations and quality standards.
- Identify project risks related to staffing, logistics, timelines, or operations, implementing mitigation plans and escalating strategic issues when appropriate.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, leading regular meetings, status updates, and performance reviews.
- Analyze project performance data and provide actionable insights, recommendations, and progress reports to stakeholders.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance while supporting operational cost management.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, standard operating procedures, process maps, and meeting records.
- Lead and support Project Coordinators, Schedulers, and distributed operational teams to ensure alignment and productivity.
- Monitor onsite activities, ensuring operational readiness, quality standards, safety protocols, and issue resolution across all data collection locations.
