Requirements
- BS/BA (scientific discipline preferred) with at least 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least 3 years relevant experience.
- Experience managing clinical or medical writing projects required.
- Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical/CRO industry required.
- Experience in ICF content and customization (e.g., Regulatory and/or plain language) preferred.
- Advanced project management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
- Expert planning and organizational skills to enable effective prioritization.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- In-depth knowledge of global, regional, and national regulatory and document development guidelines.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and train junior-level staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, forecasts, and contract modifications for assigned programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve risks related to project quality, budget, or timeline, and serve as an escalation point.
- Review and manage performance metrics for assigned programs and support department-level metrics.
- Partner with senior management and business development to support proposal development, budget preparation, and contract negotiations.
- Mentor and provide training to ICF project managers on program management processes and technical aspects.
