Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.
- At least 3 years of people leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading category management and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Strong experience with supplier negotiations, contract management, cost analysis, and market research.
- Ability to analyze complex data and market intelligence to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Strong relationship management and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners and suppliers.
- Experience developing and coaching procurement professionals.
- Working knowledge of Coupa procurement system, sourcing tools, and contract lifecycle management platforms.
- Master's degree and/or CPSM, CPSD, PMP, or similar professional certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of category management and strategic sourcing strategies for assigned categories, including enterprise software.
- Partner with procurement leadership to execute enterprise category strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating objectives into sourcing and supplier strategies.
- Coach, mentor, and develop category management team members through performance management and training.
- Identify opportunities to optimize total cost of ownership, improve supplier performance, and reduce risk.
- Lead negotiations for supplier agreements and contract renewals, partnering with Legal and business stakeholders.
- Perform core people leadership responsibilities including workforce planning, hiring, and performance evaluations.
