Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement focused on IT.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing/negotiating software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecommunications, and cybersecurity agreements.
- Strong understanding of software licensing models and cloud consumption agreements.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders across all levels, including executive leadership.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Legal, and Security teams.
- Strong analytical, financial, contract negotiation, and project management skills.
- Ability to assess supplier risk and evaluate business cases for technology investments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management strategies aligned with business goals.
- Analyze category spend, market trends, and supplier capabilities to identify cost optimization initiatives.
- Lead competitive sourcing events including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Negotiate complex contracts, licensing terms, SOWs, and SLAs.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and establish governance processes for vendor performance.
- Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to ensure compliance and alignment.
- Support annual budgeting and financial planning through market intelligence and cost projections.
