Requirements
- 4+ years of SEO experience, including at least 1 year in-house or agency
- Strong understanding of on-page, technical, off-page SEO, and content marketing
- Excellent writing and editing skills with experience writing for a U.S. audience
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Microsoft Clarity
- Strong understanding of web analytics tools and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ability to perform competitive analysis and derive content strategy insights
- Stable high-speed internet connection (25 MBPS+) with backup
- Own PC/laptop (Core i5/Ryzen 3 equivalent, 8GB RAM, Windows 10+/macOS equivalent)
- Noise-canceling headset and 720p+ webcam
- Designated, quiet workspace
Responsibilities
- Optimize website pages, blogs, landing pages, and service pages for on-page SEO
- Create SEO content plans for scalable website pages
- Write and optimize human-first content structured for search and AI visibility
- Structure content using logical headings, internal linking, and information hierarchy
- Identify and resolve keyword cannibalization, duplicate content, and linking issues
- Build and execute backlinking strategies to improve search engine rankings
- Collaborate with developers on technical site architecture and SEO implementation
- Monitor and address technical SEO issues including crawlability, indexing, and core web vitals
- Analyze performance data to recommend page creation, updates, redirects, or removals
- Track rankings, traffic, and leads using SEO and analytics tools
