- Listen to physician-patient interactions and accurately transcribe medical histories, examination findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Review transcribed notes and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
- Ensure patient records are complete, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Act as a liaison between physicians and other healthcare team members by relaying messages, orders, and instructions.
- Uphold strict patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist physicians during patient interactions by retrieving patient information, documenting procedures, and entering orders.
