Requirements
- Aptitude for managing a complex, consultative sales process including lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Proven track record of managing Director, VP, and C-Suite client relationships at major corporations.
- Deep experience in project management across multi-disciplinary teams in an influencer role.
- Strong attention to detail and rigorous documentation discipline.
- Experience in or knowledge of the healthcare industry, especially health plans.
- Mastery of PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Management consulting or consultative sales experience in a matrix management environment.
- Ability to travel weekly on 1-3 day trips to client sites and/or conferences nationwide.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute business development strategies, including cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
- Manage the handoff of expanded business to implementation personnel to ensure corporate targets are met.
- Develop and mentor business development staff, including support and administrative personnel.
- Track and report on pipelines, success rates, and financial performance.
- Coordinate with internal resources to achieve market penetration, revenue, and margin metrics.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify product enhancements that improve client appeal and financial performance.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, quality, accreditation, and HIPAA requirements.
