Requirements
- 4+ years of experience delivering production-ready products.
- High-quality coding proficiency in Java (Kotlin a plus) and Python.
- Experience implementing production-level RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with relational and low-latency databases.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience building systems from scratch.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to distill complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills with a talent for building consensus.
- Experience with async Python web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI) and data streaming (WebSockets, SSE) is a plus.
- Understanding of machine learning principles and model inference in production is a plus.
- Experience with Protobuf and AWS is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build out backend services that support core ML/AI product features.
- Create backend infrastructure to enable scalable, resilient, and performant solutions.
- Deploy and manage various applications in production.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with therapists, data scientists, engineers, and product managers.
- Code daily while balancing quality and deadlines.
