Requirements
- 7+ years building and operating production web applications.
- Deep professional experience with PHP in long-lived, server-rendered environments.
- Proven experience integrating with major ad platform APIs (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, or Google/YouTube), including handling rate limits and backoff.
- Strong proficiency in vanilla JavaScript and modern component-based frontend frameworks.
- Experience managing high-stakes systems where data integrity and error prevention are critical to financial outcomes.
- Ability to normalize data models across disparate advertising platforms.
- Excellent written communication skills and comfort working autonomously in a distributed team.
- Experience with Docker and twelve-factor application methodologies is preferred.
- Knowledge of background job and queue systems (retries, idempotency) is a plus.
- Experience shipping AI-backed features is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a robust abstraction layer for Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube marketing APIs.
- Develop AI-assisted creative checking and compliance monitoring tools for ad operations.
- Build and maintain revenue systems, including billing logic and spend reconciliation.
- Implement automated migration systems to ensure safe schema changes and deployment.
- Refactor legacy monolithic codebases into modern service-oriented architectures.
- Collaborate with DevOps to improve application statelessness and deployment safety.
