Requirements
- Substantial professional full-stack experience with the ability to lead technical decisions.
- Strong expertise in React and the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
- Proficiency in Python (or strong experience in Node, Go, or Java with a willingness to learn).
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or similar.
- Proficiency in REST/GraphQL API design.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating production workloads in a major cloud platform (GCP preferred).
- Fluent use of AI coding assistants in real production environments.
- Strong sense for UI craft including accessibility, responsiveness, and design hierarchy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for asynchronous collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own full-stack features end-to-end, from API design through to polished, accessible UI.
- Lead decisions on front-end component patterns, state management, and design system evolution.
- Maintain and build scalable Python APIs while collaborating on data modeling and GCP infrastructure.
- Establish and champion strong testing patterns across front-end and account-management code.
- Integrate and use AI coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini in daily production work.
- Provide L3 escalation support in a low-volume, third-level on-call rotation.
- Guide teammates informally through code review, pairing, and documentation.
