Requirements
- 12+ years of experience building systems and tools to improve developer velocity and feedback loops.
- Proven ability to design complex, multi-tier architectures with focus on modularity, observability, and security.
- Experience designing, benchmarking, and optimizing high-throughput, low-latency systems at scale.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks within CI/CD pipelines.
- Expert-level knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Expert-level knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Extensive experience building or optimizing high-performance CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, or GitHub Actions).
- Ability to identify systemic bottlenecks across the entire engineering lifecycle.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead-level engineers through technical merit.
- Passion for mentorship through design reviews and RFCs.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced deployment strategies such as blue-green, canary releases, and automated rollbacks.
- Build and maintain internal systems that improve development and deployment velocity.
- Design and develop scalable CI/CD pipelines supporting both multi-repo and monorepo architectures.
- Advise Engineering Leadership on technical strategies to improve developer throughput.
- Collaborate across product and infrastructure teams to unify engineering standards and drive 'Golden Paths'.
