Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles guiding solution design and evaluation.
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts, deployment, security, and operations.
- Ability to lead technical evaluations, proofs of concept, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Clear technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messages for both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building and empathy skills.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Residency in France (ideally Paris region or Lille).
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to show how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customers' technical and business needs.
- Drive the technical evaluation process as the directly responsible individual, including solution design, POC/POV ownership, and workshop design.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to shape and execute account strategies that support new customer acquisition and expansion.
- Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders to enable them as GitLab advocates.
- Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices.
- Serve as the voice of the customer with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
