Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of related energy industry experience, including energy consulting, energy management, building science, or DSM program design.
- Demonstrated experience with project and resource management.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability, building energy efficiency, building science, and renewables.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead energy efficiency, electrification, distributed energy resources (DER) and decarbonization potential studies.
- Develop solutions to inform dispatch strategies and co-optimization of DERs.
- Develop market adoption curves for DER technologies using benchmarking and Bass Diffusion curves.
- Conduct market research on energy efficiency technologies, measure adoption, and feasibility.
- Perform advanced energy saving calculations and economic analyses for residential and commercial sectors.
- Manage and analyze large datasets using advanced Excel functions.
- Assist with business development activities and writing proposals.
- Prepare and present persuasive reports, white papers, and client deliverables.
