Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of related energy industry experience, including energy consulting, energy management, building science, or DSM program design.
  • Demonstrated experience with project and resource management.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in sustainability, building energy efficiency, building science, and renewables.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead energy efficiency, electrification, distributed energy resources (DER) and decarbonization potential studies.
  • Develop solutions to inform dispatch strategies and co-optimization of DERs.
  • Develop market adoption curves for DER technologies using benchmarking and Bass Diffusion curves.
  • Conduct market research on energy efficiency technologies, measure adoption, and feasibility.
  • Perform advanced energy saving calculations and economic analyses for residential and commercial sectors.
  • Manage and analyze large datasets using advanced Excel functions.
  • Assist with business development activities and writing proposals.
  • Prepare and present persuasive reports, white papers, and client deliverables.
