Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a generalist operating across operations, marketing, and external-facing roles.
- Proven track record of meeting specific numerical targets, such as dollars generated, deals closed, or revenue growth.
- Experience in negotiating with external partners and managing high-level business development.
- Expertise in directing or managing paid acquisition channels and understanding performance metrics.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and develop new processes for nascent programs.
- Strong analytical skills for analyzing retention cohorts and campaign performance.
- Capacity to manage projects independently and effectively leverage external contractors.
- Commitment to the organization's mission of expanding access to education for underserved families.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and manage end-to-end relationships with national and state Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs).
- Establish state-by-state funding amounts, timelines, and serve as the liaison between SGO teams and internal Primer departments.
- Build and execute an in-house SGO growth engine including paid acquisition, landing pages, and creative strategies.
- Lead outreach to corporate prospects for state income tax credit programs and manage individual donor growth through various channels.
- Manage annual growth targets, marketing creatives, and external contractors.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with policy, legal, and marketing teams to navigate emerging program requirements.
