Job Details

Strong full-stack engineering foundation including systems thinking, debugging, and architecture.
Deep experience with TypeScript across both frontend and backend.
Proven track record of shipping and owning large, user-facing features in production.
Proficiency working with relational databases, specifically Postgres.
Product-focused mindset with an intuition for cohesive user experiences.
Fluency and daily usage of AI coding tools.
Proactive, self-directed communication skills with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
Experience with modern full-stack React frameworks and server-rendered UI (Nice-to-have).
Experience integrating with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or LTI (Nice-to-have).
Familiarity with background workers and durable job processing (Nice-to-have).

Take major features from concept to shipped including scoping, architecture, implementation, and rollout.
Own product areas end-to-end for administrative, faculty, and student-facing interfaces.
Partner with product and design to translate customer needs into shippable features.
Develop and maintain integrations connecting the platform to institutional systems.
Debug production issues across the full stack from client to background services.
Collaborate with DevOps on deployment, observability, and incident response.
Utilize AI coding tools for daily development and contribute to AI-facing features.
Mentor teammates, review code, and contribute to architectural scaling decisions.
