Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of project management experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with clients, vendors, and internal technical teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of IT principles, infrastructure, and managed services.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
- Hands-on experience with PSA and project management tools such as ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a client-focused approach.
- PMP certification or other relevant project management credentials preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead, oversee, and manage project engineers, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Own department success by monitoring profitability metrics and resource allocation.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, providing timely updates and addressing issues.
- Ensure precise project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and change orders.
- Monitor and mitigate project risks.
- Oversee scope modifications using formal change control processes.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and project status updates.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among staff, clients, and vendors.
- Perform post-project evaluations to drive ongoing improvement.
