Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of project management experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with clients, vendors, and internal technical teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of IT principles, infrastructure, and managed services.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Hands-on experience with PSA and project management tools such as ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a client-focused approach.
  • PMP certification or other relevant project management credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead, oversee, and manage project engineers, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Own department success by monitoring profitability metrics and resource allocation.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, providing timely updates and addressing issues.
  • Ensure precise project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  • Monitor and mitigate project risks.
  • Oversee scope modifications using formal change control processes.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and project status updates.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among staff, clients, and vendors.
  • Perform post-project evaluations to drive ongoing improvement.
