Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in group travel, hospitality, sports operations, business development, hotel sales, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of group travel logistics, including hotel sourcing, air travel, ground transportation, catering, meeting space, and event coordination.
  • Proven experience negotiating hotel contracts and managing vendor relationships to achieve favorable commercial outcomes.
  • Familiarity with major hotel brands and industry best practices within the hospitality sector.
  • Experience using CVENT, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, negotiation, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities with a customer-focused mindset and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate group travel operations for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and exceptional service throughout each engagement.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the group travel market while supporting strategic initiatives to expand the division's services and client base.
  • Source hotels and travel accommodations, prepare bid comparisons using CVENT, negotiate favorable rates and concessions, and manage the full contracting process.
  • Maintain organized digital files, prepare and review contracts, RFPs, and travel documentation, while tracking key milestones and contractual deadlines.
  • Manage opportunities and client data within Salesforce, maintaining accurate pipelines, reporting, and operational records.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, travel partners, venues, and industry stakeholders to support successful client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with finance teams on reporting, commissions, hotel reconciliation, and operational analytics while providing regular project updates to leadership.
  • Support day-to-day travel operations, assist with client communications, resolve logistical challenges, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
