Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 8+ years of commercial and/or marketing experience.
- At least 4 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proven experience launching or managing specialty, oncology, rare disease, or biotech products.
- Strong track record developing marketing strategies and successfully executing integrated promotional plans.
- Experience managing external agencies, vendors, and promotional budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex commercial challenges and present strategic recommendations.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing, customer engagement strategies, and performance measurement.
- Knowledge of U.S. healthcare reimbursement, distribution channels, and selling environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills within matrixed organizations.
- Willingness to travel more than 30% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product marketing strategies, including disease education initiatives, messaging frameworks, promotional materials, and educational programs.
- Lead patient strategy development and collaborate with agency partners to deliver integrated omnichannel marketing programs.
- Build market access strategies, value propositions, and supporting materials in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Create and implement tactical plans across digital channels, healthcare networks, hospitals, and integrated delivery organizations.
- Partner with sales training teams to develop product-focused education and enablement resources.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to create performance dashboards, presentations, and measurement tools.
- Support promotional review processes by coordinating with medical, legal, and regulatory teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, agencies, and external vendors.
- Manage marketing budgets, monitor spending, and optimize investments to support business objectives.
