Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of commercial and/or marketing experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Proven experience launching or managing specialty, oncology, rare disease, or biotech products.
  • Strong track record developing marketing strategies and successfully executing integrated promotional plans.
  • Experience managing external agencies, vendors, and promotional budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex commercial challenges and present strategic recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing, customer engagement strategies, and performance measurement.
  • Knowledge of U.S. healthcare reimbursement, distribution channels, and selling environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills within matrixed organizations.
  • Willingness to travel more than 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies, including disease education initiatives, messaging frameworks, promotional materials, and educational programs.
  • Lead patient strategy development and collaborate with agency partners to deliver integrated omnichannel marketing programs.
  • Build market access strategies, value propositions, and supporting materials in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Create and implement tactical plans across digital channels, healthcare networks, hospitals, and integrated delivery organizations.
  • Partner with sales training teams to develop product-focused education and enablement resources.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to create performance dashboards, presentations, and measurement tools.
  • Support promotional review processes by coordinating with medical, legal, and regulatory teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, agencies, and external vendors.
  • Manage marketing budgets, monitor spending, and optimize investments to support business objectives.
