Requirements
- 10+ years of commercial experience within the life sciences industry, including software platforms, services, or technology solutions.
- Proven success managing complex enterprise sales cycles within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related organizations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with scientific experts, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong consultative selling skills with experience identifying customer needs and delivering value-based solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in life sciences or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience with enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or cloud-based scientific solutions preferred.
- Familiarity with PK/PD, DMPK, modeling and simulation, regulatory workflows, or pharmaceutical development processes is a plus.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Growth-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts, developing strategies that increase adoption, retention, and long-term customer value.
- Build and execute territory and account plans aligned with revenue growth objectives and customer needs.
- Lead consultative sales cycles with scientific, operational, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Develop trusted relationships across pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations, including R&D, clinical, regulatory, and technical teams.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships into additional divisions or accounts.
- Translate customer challenges into tailored software solutions by collaborating with scientific and product specialists.
- Lead negotiations, proposals, and contract discussions from initial discovery through closing.
- Partner with marketing, customer success, and solution teams to strengthen customer engagement and market positioning.
- Provide insights from customer interactions to support product strategy and business development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and account health reporting.
