Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in loan operations, underwriting, servicing, or related financial operations.
- 5+ years of people management experience in a remote working environment.
- Strong command of the loan lifecycle including verification, disbursements, and exceptions.
- Hands-on experience with Loan Origination Software (LOS) or Loan Management Systems (LMS).
- Proven ability to manage high-volume, detail-sensitive workflows.
- Experience building, improving, or scaling SOP-driven operations.
- Strong analytical and operational judgment with ability to balance risk and quality.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience with TurnKey Lender (TKL), Repay, Jira, or Zendesk preferred.
- Experience with operational reporting, forecasting, or capacity planning preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Loan Operations team across Loan Specialists, Loan Underwriters, and Team Leads.
- Set daily and weekly priorities across queues ensuring SLA adherence.
- Manage operational execution across the full loan lifecycle from origination to servicing and disputes.
- Serve as the first-line escalation point for high-risk or cross-system operational issues.
- Coach team members and leads on judgment, execution, and operational rigor.
- Maintain and improve SOPs and internal playbooks to ensure audit readiness.
- Interpret key metrics to identify workflow gaps and drive automation initiatives.
- Represent Loan Operations in cross-functional discussions with Product, Engineering, and Finance.
