Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience building reliable, performant applications and microservices in production.
- Proven full-stack fluency across frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Technical depth in at least one domain: distributed systems, multi-tenant SaaS, application databases, networking, security, serverless, or event streaming.
- Experience or familiarity with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, Node.js, or React.js is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and openness to collaborative idea-sharing.
- Curiosity and a desire to teach and lift others in the team.
- Ability to make informed technical trade-offs while working with Product and Design.
Responsibilities
- Build and own scalable SaaS applications end-to-end across frontend, backend, and data layers.
- Write production-grade, efficient, and testable code while maintaining high standards through reviews.
- Design future-ready system architectures and proactively resolve technical gaps.
- Drive system availability and performance, troubleshooting issues across the stack.
- Champion a 'shift-left' testing culture, embedding unit, integration, and contract tests early.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while ensuring code correctness.
- Mentor engineers and drive team-wide engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into intuitive UI.
