Requirements
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP-C, MS) required.
- 8+ years of experience in Medical Affairs within pharma/biotech.
- Minimum of 5 years of specific training experience.
- Deep expertise in adult learning methodologies and training development.
- Subject matter expertise in training and ability to develop deep understanding in assigned therapeutic areas.
- Proven track record working in a global environment across multiple international markets.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect multiple complex components.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to present and engage across the organization.
- Strong understanding of regional healthcare systems and compliance environments.
- Ability to influence decision making and provide creative solutions.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Create annual and quarterly training plans aligned with Brand Planning for assigned disease states and products.
- Develop therapeutic area onboarding plans and training materials that support adult learning.
- Lead Global Medical Affairs-wide training sessions on data, competitors, and congresses.
- Track and report on training effectiveness, completion rates, and impact metrics.
- Partner across the Global Medical Training team and with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure global consistency.
- Identify and implement innovative approaches to training and adult learning.
- Spend time in the field to understand customer and MSL/MOL needs to translate into training opportunities.
