Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in land development, civil/environmental engineering, or data center diligence.
- Deep knowledge of permitting, entitlements, and AHJ engagement.
- Proven project management and technical review skills.
- Experience managing external consultants.
- Ability to interpret complex technical studies.
- Experience communicating risks and milestones to executive stakeholders.
- Proficiency in establishing and tracking key performance indicators.
Responsibilities
- Lead all technical diligence, including geotechnical, soils, title/ALTA surveys, mineral rights, and access reviews.
- Oversee permitting and entitlement paths and ensure schedule governance with relevant agencies.
- Evaluate generator air permits, wetlands, floodplain, and stormwater constraints.
- Manage consultants performing feasibility studies and environmental assessments.
- Deliver go/no-go recommendations with detailed risk assessments and mitigation options.
- Build diligence templates and playbooks to scale future site reviews.
- Regularly communicate site readiness updates, risks, and milestones to executive stakeholders.
- Establish and track key performance indicators to assess site selection program effectiveness and partner contributions.
