Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- Significant experience negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, especially SaaS and technology agreements.
- Experience advising on employment law and supporting HR organizations.
- Fluency across multiple AI platforms and experience leveraging AI for legal productivity.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and Teams.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work across multiple time zones.
- Experience in SaaS, eCommerce, or technology companies (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft, review, and manage commercial agreements including SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnership contracts.
- Advise the People team on recruitment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
- Develop scalable legal processes and leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline contract review and knowledge management.
- Manage corporate governance, entity filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Support data privacy and security compliance, including managing data protection agreements and security questionnaires.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering to provide strategic legal guidance.
