Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- 4+ years in engineering management roles with active coding responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience building cloud-based SaaS products on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong background in databases, SQL, query optimization, and BigQuery.
- Deep technical fluency in the team's primary stack with senior-level code review capability.
- API-first mindset with experience building functional APIs.
- Proven track record of improving delivery velocity and team caliber.
- Clear philosophy on hiring, coaching, performance management, and technical decision-making.
- Excellent judgment under pressure and direct, candid communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers, owning both its delivery and its development.
- Develop team members through regular 1:1s, growth plans, and performance reviews.
- Write and review code to remain a credible voice in technical and architectural decisions.
- Partner with Technical Product Owners to maintain a roadmap and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage team hiring, interviewing, and recruiting efforts.
- Communicate clearly with leadership and collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and GTM teams.
