Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
- At least 5 years managing engineering managers and/or senior technical teams.
- Hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines for SaaS platforms.
- Strong experience with AWS (primary), Azure, and GCP.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
- Expertise in containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
- Familiarity with feature flags (LaunchDarkly) and change management automation.
- Understanding of security and compliance tools (SAST/DAST, policy-as-code, secrets management).
- Proven track record supporting high-availability, distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow DevOps, Infrastructure, and Release Engineering teams across geographies.
- Own the release engineering strategy for a SaaS platform supporting frequent, reliable deployments.
- Design and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines including automated testing and progressive delivery.
- Establish deployment standards, change classification, and risk levels to improve DORA metrics.
- Provide technical leadership across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Own production readiness standards, release go/no-go criteria, and incident response processes.
- Partner with Product, QE, Security, and Engineering leadership to align on release expectations and strategy.
