Design and develop comprehensive training materials and modules focused on mental health assessment, suicide prevention, and safety planning interventions tailored for VA clinicians and staff.
Facilitate engaging and effective classroom and virtual training sessions, including telehealth-based delivery formats, for multidisciplinary VA staff.
Serve as a subject matter expert on evidence-based mental health practices, suicide risk mitigation, and telehealth service delivery.
Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, performance metrics, and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with VA leadership, education coordinators, and stakeholders to align training programs with national standards and VA priorities.
Incorporate adult learning principles and instructional design best practices into all training initiatives.
Promote trauma-informed, veteran-centered care principles across training content and delivery.
Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
