Requirements
- On-the-job experience with container and deployment tools such as Docker, Podman, or Ansible.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Thorough understanding of networking and security fundamentals (e.g., load balancers, certificates, VPC).
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Hetzner).
- Knowledge of best practices for on-premise deployment and operations, including blue/green deployment, database recovery, monitoring, and logging.
- Ability to work remotely with a 4-hour daily overlap with London (GMT).
- Strong communication skills and a resourceful approach to problem-solving.
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to work towards goals independently.
- Willingness to experiment with and adopt AI tools into workflows.
Responsibilities
- Improve platform deployment processes for our clients.
- Drive forward internal CI/CD processes.
- Design and implement a scalability and performance benchmarking platform.
- Work with engineers to enable the wider technology team to focus on core product development.
- Collaborate with Customer Success engineers and Solution Architects to meet client needs.
- Ensure applications utilize industry best practices in deployment, logging, monitoring, and security.
