Requirements
- 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
- Background as an educator or experience working on large-scale government projects is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a project manager overseeing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Ability to define project scope, set goals, and ensure high-quality outcomes within timelines.
- Skilled in people management and coordinating dependencies across multiple teams without formal authority.
- Experience working with large volumes of quantitative data, identifying trends, and drawing evidence-based conclusions.
- Ability to analyze qualitative insights and adjust plans accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences using email, documents, presentations, and verbal formats.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with tolerance for ambiguity, a penchant for experimentation, and a bias toward action.
- Willingness to travel.
- Passionate about education and improving student learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with state leadership to plan and execute the rollout of the Khan Academy learning platform.
- Provide data-backed insights to assist partners in decision-making throughout the implementation.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Content, Partner Operations, Teacher Enablement, and Data and Efficacy to ensure successful program delivery.
- Identify and implement strategic levers based on quantitative data analysis to deepen program usage.
- Analyze qualitative feedback from state systems to drive continuous improvement and sustainability.
- Develop capacity within school systems to support long-term, scalable implementation.
- Balance short-term execution needs with long-term strategic planning for program success.
