- Provide expert advice to ensure compliance with digital and privacy regulation across core markets including the UK, EU, US, India, Kenya and South Africa.
- Partner with Engineering, Product and Data teams to embed Privacy by Design and Default into workflows such as sprint planning and design reviews.
- Coordinate DPIAs and other assessments for high-risk processing, particularly involving children’s data, AI, and online platforms.
- Track and interpret emerging digital and privacy regulations globally and assess the adoption of novel technologies like generative AI.
- Improve the Foundation’s information governance framework, including policies, data mapping, and third-party processor reviews.
- Manage responses to data subject access requests (DSARs) and lead investigation/mitigation of potential data breaches.
- Design and deliver compliance and data privacy training tailored to developers, educators, researchers, and operational teams.
