Requirements
- Active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state.
- PTCB certified.
- 1+ year of claims processing, insurance, or pharmacy experience.
- Strong MS Office skills (role is report-heavy).
- Self-provided internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
- Dedicated workspace lacking ongoing interruptions to protect PHI/HIPAA information.
- Ability to travel occasionally to offices for training or meetings.
Responsibilities
- Support Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications.
- Perform moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments.
- Adjudicate pharmacy claims and process pharmacy claims for payment.
- Analyze and answer inquiries regarding pharmacy claims adjudication, including payment methods, co-pays, deductibles, or denial reasons.
- Perform computations related to pharmacy claims processing.
- Identify work expectations and quality standards while working under minimal direction.
