Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of six months related experience.
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as required by state laws.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Cable broadband or fiber optic internet with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload speeds.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter patient prescriptions into the computer system.
- Evaluate medication prescriptions against insurance coverage.
- Research and resolve issues in coordination with pharmacists and doctors' offices.
- Provide guidance to patients regarding medication coverage.
- Manage and document multiple incoming requests simultaneously with high attention to detail.
