Requirements

- Active pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Ability to work independently and maintain self-motivation.
- Proficiency in utilizing computer equipment and navigating multiple pharmacy software systems.
- Thorough knowledge of drugs and pharmacy billing processes.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume, phone-based environment.
- Process prescription information with speed and accuracy.
- Perform claim adjudication, billing, and prior authorization tasks.
- Solve patient care issues by working through active case queues.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and medical professionals.
- Collaborate with teams to successfully onboard new patients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Conduct outbound calls to patients to establish medication profiles and welcome contacts.
