Requirements
- 3–4 years (Associate) or 5–7 years (Lead) of experience in finance, accounting, operations, project management, or consulting.
- Strong understanding of financial operations, accounting principles, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines with accuracy.
- Ability to analyze financial information and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and financial reporting tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach.
- Experience identifying inefficiencies and designing practical solutions.
- Experience with ERP tools, payroll platforms, or expense management solutions is a plus.
- Knowledge of nonprofit finance, multi-entity accounting, or U.S. tax compliance is beneficial.
- CPA certification or equivalent credentials are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage finance operations activities, including shared finance inbox support, invoice processing, expense reviews, and resolution of finance-related questions.
- Support accounts payable processes by collecting documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth vendor and contractor payments.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, and financial reporting schedules.
- Maintain accurate documentation of finance processes, policies, and procedures to support operational continuity and compliance.
- Support contractor onboarding processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows and internal systems.
- Lead or contribute to finance operations projects such as finance tool implementation, system migrations, payroll improvements, and process automation.
- Assist with internal controls development, risk management initiatives, tax compliance, and external audit preparation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve finance operations and deliver high-quality stakeholder support.
