Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a large public company or complex corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial close processes, intercompany accounting, and multi-entity consolidation.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting cross-functional projects and strategic accounting initiatives.
- Proven ability to identify process improvements, automate workflows, and develop scalable solutions.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills to collaborate across Finance, Tax, FP&A, Legal, and Technology teams.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience with international subsidiaries and transfer pricing preferred.
- Experience with Workday Financials or large ERP systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support close optimization initiatives by identifying manual processes, developing improvement roadmaps, and implementing scalable solutions.
- Own close management activities, including communications, coordination, tracking, and operational frameworks.
- Maintain and improve accounting templates, documentation, and processes.
- Lead recurring accounting programs related to close management, consolidation, and process standardization.
- Oversee intercompany accounting programs and collaborate with Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Compliance teams.
- Support strategic finance initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, entity creation, and reorganizations.
- Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.
- Create financial analysis and performance metrics to track close process efficiency.
- Own accounting activities for assigned areas, including expense accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Review intercompany transactions and perform monthly fluctuation analyses.
