Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sales, or revenue leadership.
  • Experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success closing and growing partnerships, accounts, or revenue relationships.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of accounts.
  • Proven pitching and presentation skills with experience closing deals.
  • Experience setting brand direction and overseeing marketing or communications functions.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and data-driven pipeline management.
  • Strong written communication skills for proposals, grant narratives, and impact reports.
  • Travel to HealthCorps hubs, partner sites, and sector events is required.
  • Familiarity with health systems, corporate social responsibility, education, or youth-serving sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key external relationship officer, cultivating partnerships with health systems, sponsors, school districts, and foundations.
  • Design and lead a comprehensive partnership strategy spanning grant, sponsor, and programmatic relationships.
  • Own the full partnership sales cycle, including developing pitches, proposals, and grant applications.
  • Set the strategic direction for the brand and oversee the Marketing Manager's execution across channels.
  • Build local advisory committees and strengthen market presence in collaboration with local teams.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team including Development, Marketing, and Alumni & Community Managers.
  • Establish and monitor division KPIs and manage the division budget.
