Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- 1 to 2 years of experience shipping AI/ML or LLM-powered features to real users.
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping tools like Claude, Cursor, or Replit.
- Practical grasp of LLM capabilities and limitations.
- Experience with prompt and context engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Strong product discovery skills including customer interviews and problem validation.
- Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Design to ship software.
- Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs to diverse audiences.
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly evolving technology.
Responsibilities
- Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI initiatives.
- Perform customer-facing research to validate AI skills against live workflows.
- Prioritize the backlog based on broker value, technical feasibility, and quality risk.
- Define and maintain eval sets and quality bars for AI skill releases.
- Determine when to use deterministic engines versus LLMs for specific features.
- Design prompts, context, and retrieval systems and optimize them through measured evaluations.
- Establish AI guardrails including grounding, permission-scoping, and hallucination controls.
- Measure product outcomes such as adoption and task success alongside model quality metrics.
