Requirements
- 7 years of experience in project management principles, methods, and tools within the last 10 years.
- 4 years of experience as a senior PM on large or complex IT projects within the last 10 years.
- 3 years of experience supporting California Department of Technology (CDT) Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) Stage 2–4 projects within the last 10 years.
- 2 years of experience preparing documentation for CDT Stage Gate Reviews within the last 10 years.
- 1 year of experience with Accela Civic Platform or Accela licensing and enforcement modules within the last 10 years.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Strong vendor coordination skills in multi-vendor or System Integrator (SI) environments.
- Experience with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or Agile-Waterfall).
Responsibilities
- Engage in collecting and documenting business, technical, and data requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans to ensure milestones and deliverables are met on time.
- Manage project documentation through all stages of the California Department of Technology (CDT) Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) process.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members.
- Lead and mentor project team members to ensure effective task completion.
- Provide technical oversight for data conversion and system integration activities.
- Facilitate training sessions and knowledge transfer for end-users.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success and identify improvements.
