Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, information systems, finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, process improvement, or project management.
- 3-5 years of experience leading automation projects or cross-functional implementations.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle workflows and regulatory requirements.
- Experience implementing automation and process improvement in complex healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build partnerships across operations, IT, and executive leadership.
- Experience with major healthcare platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or Meditech is preferred.
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and CMS compliance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate automation opportunities across the patient access, billing, and collections revenue cycle.
- Manage end-to-end automation project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Lead process analysis to identify inefficiencies and standardize workflows for automation.
- Manage the implementation, testing, and deployment of AI, machine learning, and workflow automation technologies.
- Partner with IT, analytics, and vendors to ensure successful system integration and technical support.
- Drive change management and training initiatives to support user adoption of new automated solutions.
- Communicate project ROI, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
