Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience with a track record of owning products end-to-end.
- 5+ years building for the direct-to-employer and/or broker market.
- Deep understanding of employer ecosystem dynamics, including plan design, self-insurance, steerage, and TPAs.
- Demonstrated ability to ship high-complexity 0→1 solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Subject-matter credibility to serve as a connective tissue for other employer subject-matter experts.
- Clear track record of growth, impact, and increasing scope.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and iterating in response to market feedback.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Employer vertical from inception to early revenue.
- Translate deep employer and broker knowledge into a concrete product plan by coordinating with internal SMEs.
- Develop and defend a point of view on employer ecosystem dynamics, including plan design, self-insurance, steerage, and direct contracting.
- Drive early-stage concepts through iteration and execution based on validation with real customers.
- Turn pricing and contract data assets into products that solve specific employer and broker problems.
- Facilitate coordination across internal disciplines and external stakeholders like consultants and TPAs.
- Build direct relationships with employer benefits teams to incorporate their feedback into the roadmap.
