Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in annuities, insurance, wealth management, financial services, or third-party distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed, indexed, and/or variable annuity products.
  • Experience working with broker-dealers, banks, registered investment advisors, or similar financial institutions.
  • Strong relationship management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, and priorities effectively.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and identify growth opportunities.
  • Willingness to obtain required financial licenses, including Series 6/7 and 63/66, if not already licensed.
  • Ability to travel nationally approximately 30–50% of the time, including travel within assigned territories and for business meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with assigned third-party distribution partners to increase annuity sales and asset growth.
  • Serve as the primary contact for partner firms, addressing product questions, operational needs, and relationship management activities.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, operations, compliance, and product teams to support onboarding, product launches, and ongoing partner servicing.
  • Educate financial professionals and advisors on annuity products, positioning, features, and value propositions through presentations, training sessions, and meetings.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and account metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Support the introduction of new products, pricing changes, and strategic initiatives with distribution partners.
  • Identify opportunities to expand partner engagement, increase business value, and strengthen distribution channels.
  • Resolve escalated partner issues while maintaining trust, responsiveness, and strong service standards.
  • Provide leadership with insights and recommendations based on market activity, partner feedback, and sales performance.
