Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
- 5+ years in senior leadership roles, managing managers or large-scale departments.
- Deep architectural knowledge of the modern data stack including Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, and Airbyte.
- Experience leading large-scale cloud migrations and designing systems for BI and Machine Learning workflows.
- Proven ability to lead organizations through technical and cultural shifts.
- Exceptional communication skills to translate technical investments for non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Ability to balance high-level strategy with deep technical understanding.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2–3 year vision for the data platform and align initiatives with company growth goals.
- Build and scale a multi-tiered engineering organization with a focus on mentorship and accountability.
- Establish and enforce global standards for data quality, security, and privacy, including GDPR/CCPA compliance.
- Optimize total cost of ownership for data infrastructure and manage vendor relationships.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Engineering and the C-suite to translate infrastructure needs into business value.
- Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies like AI/ML integration and real-time streaming.
