Requirements
- Extensive experience in data architecture and enterprise data strategy.
- Proven ability to implement and oversee data governance frameworks and operating models.
- Strong proficiency in designing data integration patterns and data quality controls.
- Deep understanding of enterprise data platform technologies, including Snowflake and data lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with identity and access management systems, including RBAC and ABAC.
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, ITAR, and export control data handling requirements.
- Proven track record of managing data-related workstreams during M&A and organizational scaling.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Ability to partner with security and legal departments on data classification and protection initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and drive a common enterprise data framework that connects product, business-system, and functional data domains.
- Establish shared data models, taxonomies, and definition-management processes across core domains.
- Define and implement data governance operating models clarifying ownership, stewardship, and decision rights.
- Design and implement data access models including RBAC and ABAC while ensuring alignment with enterprise IAM.
- Develop and maintain the enterprise data-platform roadmap, including Snowflake environments and potential lake/warehouse architectures.
- Lead the IT/data workstream for acquisitions, including data-source mapping and integration pattern development.
- Establish methodology and workflows to identify, classify, and protect critical data assets and intellectual property.
