Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD) licensure/registration required, from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Minimum 2 years of community nutrition experience.
- Minimum 1 year of Clinical Research experience.
- BS in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related subject required (MS preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of medical and research terminology, federal regulations, and Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
- Strong proficiency in clinical trial databases, IVR systems, electronic data capture (EDC), Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Strong leadership, prioritization, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent professional writing and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assess nutritional needs and provide personalized Lifestyle Counseling to optimize participant status during pharmacotherapy.
- Perform protocol-mandated visits including goal setting, progress tracking, and providing educational materials.
- Conduct remote, video-assisted protocol visits to review study logs, collect AE/concomitant medication changes, and complete eSource documentation.
- Coordinate and schedule study visits with participants within defined protocol windows.
- Collaborate with internal teams, investigators, and review boards to ensure study training and requirements are met.
- Implement quality improvement projects and ensure study participant files are prepared for visits.
